My view is that some games deserve to be for adults only. I don't agree with the rating change on GTA SA but this is better then having to go through another lawsuit and finding out things were hiddin in a game agian.
Another point is not everyone is going to be making the leap to Vista right away. People like me will continue to use XP until the time comes to get a new PC witch for me will be like 2 more years yet as my computer is only 3 years old. average age of a computer ive used is 6 years. I would think Microsoft would wanna continue to bring games to both markets.
I suppose you can have DX10 on a xp computer but you would not really benifit from it unless you had a top of the line dx10 video card or something or a real need for it. Thats all I can say for now.
In what initially sounds like an altruistic gesture towards developing nations -- but is in reality a shrewd business move to both compete with pirates and get kids hooked on Windows -- Microsoft will be selling a package containing full-fledged versions (well, kinda) of its OS and office software to eligible countries for a mere three-bucks-a-pop. Starting sometime in the second half of the year, less-developed nations that agree to provide free computers for their school systems will be able to participate in the latest effort in Microsoft's Unlimited Potential initiative, which nets them a bundle containing XP Starter Edition, Office Home and Student 2007, as well as various other educational titles (fingers crossed for Flight Simulator).

Microsoft is obviously forcing them to purchase PCs that work with its ecosystem of products -- and more importantly, that aren't the OLPC XO.
The company will also benefit somewhat from governments that tend to buy their software from shady sources, although pirates can rest assured that they'll still be able to thrive on the patronage of individuals and private firms!!!
I am using a XFX Geforce FX5200 256MB DDR AGP. Yeah I know what your thinking old card. But It runs all the games I play on my pc very well. Mostly the sims 2 series and starcraft warcraft 3 and diablo 2 and even FEAR.

um why can't more companies use a system like Blizzard's Battlenet witch is free? It may not be the best theres hackers on it from time to time but it does work.
Um don't forget the DS its a excellent portable system for $129.99 at most stores and games run from $20 to about $40 Its sure to be a hot item for several years.
