Hello, and welcome to the forums; be sure to check out all of the new Features.
DoubloonCove.com looks really interesting; maybe we could get some sort of affiliation soon; best of luck with the Job.
That would be cool, I'm planning on putting up adverts soon, maybe we could do a trade?
Actually, it's not just the homes and service providers, but also online memorials. Big with pre-planning (when you know you're going to die, so you make everything the way you want it). So I maintain and add features to these services. I just started like a week ago, but there's a ton of stuff. Also a lot of sites for industry people to get in touch, keep up on news (Today: people died! JK)
They also have a hosting company which caters to more than just the funeral industry.
They're doing pretty well, so apparently the market is there. I couldn't even say how many sites the company runs. I'm still overwhelmed a bit. But I actually put some code live for it already and it kicked ass.
Hey. I've joined because of an email I got from Sam, thought I'd check it out.
I am the creator of DoubloonCove.com, a relatively new game. During the day, I'm also a professional PHP Developer working for a small IT company which caters towards funeral services and web hosting. (Yeah...it's a bit weird, but I love it).
My main field is PHP and MySQL but I've begun working with PostgreSQL and PHP and also picking up some Javascript. I'm really enjoying this DHTML stuff. CSS design rocks my socks, and pi = 3.
