How do I delete my iVirtua account? in iVirtua News, Views, Suggestions, and Help Centre
I'm sick of the regular spam from your forums -- I'll check in when I want updates, thanks, or I'd at least like to be able to opt out of them. And I'm sick of not getting an answer to my requests for ...

Microsoft shows off JPEG rival! in Film, Photography, Digital Animation, Broadcasting / Production
I think Microsoft's new proprietary format is only aimed at controlling the market... not at advancing technology or convenience.

Yep, this is my beef with just about everything MS does. All that ...

Graphics Cards in Gaming
Then you are in luck, because Apple will be plugging x2900XT based GPU's into their Mac Pro computers.

How do you know? Or is that too top secret info?

Mactopia...or not? Microsoft software and support for Mac? in Apple
The Mactopia newsletter is repeatedly marked as junk in my Hotmail account. Which might be a telling indication of what MS thinks of its own support for the Mac.

Mac user roll call? in Apple
iMac G5 20", fresh out of the repair shop with a new power supply courtesy of Apple's extended warranty programme. The old one didn't like doing its job.

Also have a G3/500 iBook that's still ...

Black iMac? in Apple
Black is the new black. Good to see Apple expanding its colour options, though I'm still partial to white.

Community site for Mac Users in iVirtua Members Introductions
Interesting site. I'll have to give it a thorough look-over later, though I'll say from my cursory glance that more Mac-related book reviews would be nice.

Which Newspaper do you Read? in General Discussion, including Off Topic, Current Affairs
I read the Gurnaiad pretty regularly, but I also like the Times Literary Supplement, which is less hard news and more reviews. Anyone who voted for The Sun should be ashamed -- unless, of course, you' ...

Graphics Cards in Gaming
I'd really like to see some of these amazing high-end GPUs make it into the next retail-configurable gen of Macs -- at least the Pro line. Actually, it would be great to finally have a prosumer line o ...

Stop Windows from nagging you to reboot after an update! in Microsoft / Windows
Why not just restart? It's necessary, or else they wouldn't advise you to do so, would they? And if you hate it that much, why not switch to an OS that only makes you reboot after system-level updates ...

Are rivals leaving Microsoft behind? in Business and Industry in Gaming, Media, Web, IT and Computing
All I have to say to the thread title -- Are rivals leaving Microsoft behind? -- is, God, I hope so. Anyone that can't surpass this incompetent, lumbering, bureaucratic joke is in pretty poor shape in ...

MSN punts 'scareware' in Business and Industry in Gaming, Media, Web, IT and Computing
Well, it's not entirely MS' fault, is it? It's a malicious advertiser that posed as a legitimate one. Sometimes you can't tell if someone's up to no good until they've already proven it. Note that I'm ...
