Sony has announced that a limited edition pink PSP value pack will launch on October 27th, to be followed by a pink PS2 bundle on November 1st.

The PSP bundle, which will retail for GBP 169, will come complete with headphones, a pouch, wrist strap and 32MB Memory Stick Duo. It will also include a UMD featuring videos, live performances and interviews with pop star Pink after Sony signed a new deal with the singer. SCEE's Stephane Hareau said the launch is about "much more than just launching a new colour", adding: "The association with Pink will enable PSP to push new boundaries."

The new pink PS2 will ship complete with two pink DualShock Analog controllers and a pink 8MB memory card. In the UK, the bundle will be available with karaoke party game, SingStar Pop, for a recommended retail price of GBP129.99 (159.99 Euro elsewhere).

It might go well if you had pink walls! But how many girl gamers actually want a pink ps2? Maybe for the 6-12 year old little girls i think, or some japanese commercialised girls...

Yeah I guess. I think a blue one would be kinda neat though.  Pink is kinda too bright.

personally i believe its another sony money making scam, like the silver PS2 the games shop i go to were selling it for £20 more than a normal black one, i asked the shop keeper whats the difference his answer was: 'it looks better' and nothing else so personally i think it is just another sony scam.
