Yet another problem for Woody, we could turn this into \"Woodys problem today is.....\" But back on topic. I just installed a new motherboard + lottsa' other stuff (http://cyberitforums.com/index.php?showtopic=3615&st=0&#last) and the MoBo had a built in sound card. Problem is....it doesn't work, I can hear no sound. I presume the colors on the back are coordinated? I have a Pink Green and Black cable, but the slots are Pink Green and Blue....I imagine this could well be the cause of my problem. Does anyone have any idea on how to fix this?
Thanks a lot.

* For 2-channel mode; stereo Line-out (Lime), stereo Line-In (Light blue) and Mic-In (Pink) * For 6-channel mode; Front stereo-out (Lime), Rear stereo-out (Light blue), Center and Sub-woofer (Pink)\"
Any info on the connectors at the speaker end? What speakers you hooking up?

Match the proper colors.

The pink is usually for Microphone, Green is for audio out and i dont know about the black one. Thats how it usually is on all the computers ive worked with.

The speakers I am using are CAMBRIDGE SoundWorks 5.1 suround sound. And yeah, I put them in that order, nothing. It's the black one that controls the actual sound isn't it?

In your mobo manual it should tell what each audio input is for. For example \"Input x is for rear speakers, input y is for front speakers and input z is for the center speaker\". On your subwoofer each output should be labeled \"Rear speakers, front speakers, center speaker etc\", just match those up with the inputs on the mobo.
