Producers of the new Street Fighter movie, which has now been given the subtitle 'Legend of Chun-Li', have launched a blog to tease about the latest silver screen outing for the Capcom fighter.
Weirdly, you're asked for a username and password for the blog (maybe it'sbroken at the moment), but a storyboard for the new film that's beenreleased (which has been posted on Kotaku), shows Chun-Li running and getting shot at. Nice.
Unfortunately Kyle Minogue isn't inthis one, but Kristen Kreuk (of Smallville fame) IS. Also starring areMichael Clark Duncan, Neal McDonough, and Taboo of Black Eyed Peas.Maybe it wouldn't have been that far-fetched to have gotten Minogue onboard after all...
"The Street Fighter movie is only one ofmany projects Capcom has planned to celebrate the 20th anniversary ofStreet Fighter," the company said of the flick.
"The film willbe made in conjunction with Hyde Park Films, and will be distributed by20th Century Fox for a scheduled 2009 worldwide release."
