Does anyone actauuly enjoy them now?
I know they were big in the 90s with older cmputers, giving commands, but I have only ever got one when I thought I was getting GTA for my iPod, it turned out to ve a text game! Too good to be true.
The Creator of the PSP's Loco Roco enjoyed them; then again, he's the creator of LocoRoco.
Quote:
Tsutomu Kouno, LocoRoco Game Director: When I was at elementary school, my parents bought me a computer. I created some games using BASIC programming language and had my friends play them. At that time, I was really into text adventure games.
The only place I can find information about them is for iPod Text games...
Text Games on your iPod

Howard Sherman is hoping to convince people that their iPods and cell phones aren't just for music or phone calls. Instead, he'd like you to use yours to fight dragons and solve murder mysteries.
His newest title, The First Mile, is the first to be marketed to iPod users. After spending six months developing an engine for playing games on the device with no keyboard, Sherman is preaching the virtues of interactive fiction to a new market. So far the new title is selling better than Sherman expected.
