It's hard to imagine a console in all of gaming's history more fanatically remembered and fetishized as Sega's Dreamcast, whether by virtue of its software lineup or simply the sense of cut-down-in-its-prime martyrdom its early demise has lent it.
For those still yearning for reminders of its beautiful corpse, Sega Direct has unveiled a fresh set of hardware themed merchandising and chief amongst them is this deluxe Dreamcast replica watch which opens to show off its (sadly not GD-ROM themed) analogue face. Though it normally sells primarily through the Sega Direct site, it has been spotted on various import retailer sites at a price hovering near $130. No word on whether it intermittently emits that familiar tone on every open to remind the user the battery needs to be replaced.
Those looking for a more frugal nostalgia-addled thrill might instead turn their attention toward these sticker sets which are intended to turn your mobile into a misshapen but none the less alluring replica of the MegaDrive, Saturn, or Dreamcast.

Sega did come up with a new system, not a console but it is an arcade machine.
The Lindbergh, powers just like the Xbox 360, many functions. It is already out in Jap with released games such as Virtua Fighter and House of the Dead 4.

You are totally wrong!
Yes Sega were running out of money after the failure of the Dreamcast.
But before dying out, they joined Nintendo.
*Creating Sonic games for Gamecube, with that they earned some money.
*They created classic Sonic games for all consoles, which made a massive sale!
*Remember Super Monkey Ball (balls:P) that also made sales and there are series to it.
*Sega made some sales with their games for GBA
*Also in Asia, outside Asia Sega are dead! But in Asia Sega of Asia is popular. They are still making games for the DC. Sega are making some games for 6th gen consoles that never arrived in US & UK
*Sega did bring up some RPG/Stargdy games on pc, Rome Medieval ect
It was the smart move on SEGA's part. They still have their in house games staff and churn out some good games like monkey ball and made some shrewd moves into publishing (Football Manager, Rome Total War) They do alright so they may as well watch Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft duke it out.
