My by far favorite is uTorrent.  Google it.

Mine never uses more than 4MB of mem and 0-2%CPU
That is with 6 or more multi GB files downloading at the same time.

For some reason, Torrents never worked for me.  I guess I never really took the time to understand how it works.  I've tried it, but after watching it sit at no connection for hours and hours, I eventually gave up.

I'm a dedicated Ed2k fan though.

Wow
With uTorrent, it couldn't be easier.  You don't even have to install...

Just save it, open the exe once, go through the 30 sec. setup (where it doesnt install anything), then close.  Now go OPEN a torrent (use explorer or the open option in FF).  It will go into uTorrent and start downloading soon enough.  If it is slow, open the port specified by uTorrent in the setup phase.

At the moment I use uTorrent on my laptop because it is slower, and BitComet on my main machine. BitComet is rather bloated though, I'm thinking of switching over to uTorrent on this computer too.

?Torrent is the best, by far. Also, don't use crappy public trackers (i.e torrentspy, piratebay, etc.)

It depends on what you are looking for. PM me about what you are interested in. I don't want to violate IF's TOS by mentioning specific torrent sites.

Just read the site.. Download it and try it, because there are no major perks or flaws (besides the fact that it takes little resources) that should lead you to dislike/love it.
