Howdy all.

Vista! It's the crave and just wanted to get peoples thoughts.

Is it worth getting?

Alot of people say wait until like a 'SP2' or whatever due to its current instability?

And maybe an upgrade might help too

In my own opinion it doesn't worth getting it. Install Ubuntu with Beryl or Mac OS X those OSs really worth (well if you're not into too much pc gaming).

well just click the following link, to see what I mean:
WINDOWS VISTA AERO VS LINUX UBUNTU BERYL

Well, I'm working under Vista bussiness edition (I just coppied it from a friend:p), and it's doing great. I've less problems then when I had XP. It's true that it's quite heavy, but I don't see a very big difference with XP. The only problem is that the accu of my laptop is now empty after one hour and a half, and with XP, it was 2 hours and a quart;)

grtz...

yea, i'm also running vista and everything is going fine here. On xp i had problems with onboard drivers like usb driver, sound input/output, etc... and when i installed vista he automaticly installed the correct drivers and i didn't had any problems ^.^

vista? not yet. wait till it's really stable. besides, i'm thinking of buying new pc in 2 years time. not worth upgrading my current pc to vista. i'm using xp now and i'm comfortable with it and can play many games except those saying for vista-only. that sucks...
