for whatever reason, the whole thing on multipliers seemed alittle missleading when i first read it.  understanding the basics it's easier to read.
for a lot of newbies, it might not explain enough.

well AMD 64 dont take a lot of MHz over clocking but can take up to a 230 MHz over clock on the HTT. So just bump the FSB and drop CPU multi if your geting to high.

Well, I think this topic needs reviving because of the the AMD Athlon 64 XF-63 @ 3.40GHz. It has been about 5 months now, & look what is out for the taken ;)

http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=24528

And the Wonderful AMD Athlon 64 3700+ @ 3.22GHz w/ 1MB L2 cache
http://www.pcstats.com/articleview.cfm?articleID=1815

Now the 3700+ @ 2.20GHz w/ 1MB L2 cache may be my next CPU ;)
