sweet dude a 4300+ would rock .

Yes, the 4300+ is possibly @ 2.60GHz w/ 1MB L2 cache or maybe more, or 2.80GHz w/ 512MB L2 cache. B)

I think the next nice mainstream CPU AMD is releasing would most likely be the Athlon 64 3700+ 90nm w/ SSE3.

I'm not sure what the speed is going to be though.
Maybe 2.20GHz w/ 1MB L2 cache because it has to be a little slower than the 3800+ which is at 2.40GHz w/ 512MB L2 cache.
Or actually because it's 90nm, AMD may make the new 3700+ faster than the 3800+ 130nm.

Yes, your 3500+ is great. And can you imagine if you get yourself a DFI nForce 4 Ultra. You will probably be able to hit well over 3.20GHz in Water. B)

No. It only needs more VCore. The 3500+ is a 90nm CPU were as the FX-55 @ 2.60GHz is a 130nm. All 90nm CPU's have alot of life in them.

I see. Well, you do have the water cooling right now. I'll do some google searching for more info on MAX Vcore the 90nm Athlon's can handle. :)

Or we may run into some problems

im telling you AMD says there chips wont do more than 1.85 vcore. but h**l if im over clocked 38% with a vcore of 1.65. so 1.80 would get a 50% over clock lol.
