there is this new game, Face of Mankind that is actually pretty fun. Also SilkRoad Online. Awesome game. Both free for a while. (SilkRoad prolly forever)
Also play/played:
NeverwinterNights, cosidered by most to be the first MMO.
The Realm
Ultima Online
FFXI (Gilvanblight Lakshmi server)
Guild Wars (Gilvan Blight)
Dungeons and Dragons Online (just did the beta)
The Sims Online (again just beta).
To my knowledge they never did a Sims 2 online. I don't even know if the origianl is still up. It was very buggy at release and they economy just didn't work, which is why I never picked it up.
I have heard awesome things about Eve by players just starting into it, only to hear it sucks by the same people a couple months later. Due to this I haven't even considered it.
Yeh ive played Face of Mankind. That can get pretty hectic though - its a warzone on every plaenet - and the lifespan of anyone in New York or Tokyo is close to 5 minutes.
For a while I played Ultima Online on free shards that my stepbrother found. I never really got into it though. as MMO'S cost alot of money in general and I don't really all that much like playing games that are online only.
FF11 ftw, i've put sooo much time and effort into that game, it's mind boggling how much i still have left to accomplish, leveling is easy... if you can make money to pay for it >> Damn gil being hard to come by grrr
