I have heard awesome things about Eve by players just starting into it, only to hear it sucks by the same people a couple months later.  Due to this I haven't even considered it. That can get pretty hectic though - its a warzone on every plaenet - and the lifespan of anyone in New York or Tokyo is close to 5 minutes. I never really got into it though. as MMO'S cost alot of money in general and I don't really all that much like playing games that are online only.
