I'm Trebuchet MS!

I use it in nearly everything, it suits pretty much anything and it's available on any computer, and looks lovely blown up big.

Trebuchet MS

I thought that would be a great name for a font that launches words across the Internet.

Trebuchet MS, designed by Vincent Connare in 1996, is a humanist sans serif designed for easy screen readability. Trebuchet takes its inspiration from the sans serifs of the 1930s which had large x heights and round features intended to promote readability on signs.

Quote:
Trebuchet's name originated from a lunch conversation with someone from my type group. An engineer told a story about a question posted to an internal puzzle email list. The question was "can you make a Trebuchet that could launch a person from main campus to the new consumer campus about a mile away? Mathematically is it possible and how?" The word Trebuchet is defined as a medieval engine that launches missiles. I thought that would be a great name for a font that launches words across the Internet. I was almost finished with the family and really needed a name soon. This was perfect.

Anyway, if I had to choose the typeface I actually was it would just be one of the thousands I have on my computer that nobody had heard of

I used to be a serious Helvetica 35-Thin fanboy but nowadays I like to think I've grown up and I'm now totally in love with Akzidenz Grotesk. Has alot of very similar letterforms to Helvetica but just has some added zing to it in the form of missing letterform parts, etc. I do have a secret vice however; using Helvetica Rounded to suit my childish streak

Huh that's interesting. You never really realise that there's a history behind some fonts!
