Apple's WWDC Pages have been updated with a block set aside for the WWDC Keynote address.

http://developer.apple.com/wwdc/schedules/monday_am.html

The 2007 Worldwide Developers Conference Keynote will take place on Monday morning, June 11th 2007 and start at 9am Pacific. According to the published schedule, the keynote is blocked off for a lengthy 3 hours (9am - 12pm) (see update).

No official announcement has yet been made, so this may simply be a rough timeframe. In the past, Apple's keynotes have been given by Steve Jobs starting at 10 am Pacific (2005, 2006) but have only run approximately one and a half hours.

Apple has promised a "near final" beta copy of Leopard to developers at WWDC 2007.

good to know, because I promised myself that Mac GUI would have "live" coverage of it as it happened this year.

(meaning I sit at someone else's site and relay the updates back to Mac GUI)

eh, actually I was going to park me a seat at Macrumors or whatever site I was at for the 2005 WWDC, so that'll be my first pick. Then maybe I'll do iVirtua if Macrumors is full.

Is Jay going out to WWDC this year like he said then? He has his new MacBook and it will be his first major contribution to iVirtua in that case. I'm sure it will also benefit his degree he's doing down in Reading.

I'm jealous of Jay! But still iVirtua will have live updates, so I'm pretty happy at that! Lets hope he knows how to get an internet connection and is able to type faster than the Mac Rumours guys!

We're just trying to create an area for the live coverage to be quickly updated - which would be better than using a forum thread.
