Microsoft is expected to announce price cuts at their E3 Press Conference tomorrow evening. Microsoft is holding its E3 press conference Tuesday evening. The price cut will affect all three Xbox 360 models. The $299 Core pack will drop to $249; the $399 Premium pack will drop to $349; and the recently released $479 Elite model will drop to $399.
The Elite has a 120GB hard drive vs. a 60GB hdd in the PS3. Besides the Blu-Ray player (does anybody care a whole lot?) the Xbox is $100 bucks cheaper and has twice the hard drive space. I think that will be compelling for casual gamers. Die hards will probably still get the PS3 since it's the latest and greatest.
Well as far as i know all my hardcore gaming friends have both Ps3 and Xbox 360 . They have Xbox just to play Live and Microsoft exclusive games and since PS3 is not releasing much games
