I was reading a BBC article that Vodafone (UK) and Myspace are going to team up to allow users to access their myspace account through their mobile phones.
BBC wrote:
Vodafone customers will now be able to access and update their MySpace websites from their mobile phone.
Social networking website MySpace said the tie-up with the UK's largest mobile phone company was its first extension into Europe's mobile sector.
They have also announced that they will be teaming up with Youtube to provide users with the chance to upload their content straight from their phone.

Vodafone's U.K. mobile customers join U.S. customers in the ability to view and upload videos to Google's Youtube.
They have also made plans with eBay, which will allow users to search and bid on their mobile phones.
It looks like mobile phone operators are finally getting the whole 'mobile web' thing and are including outside web applications to make browsing on a mobile phone more enjoyable.
Adding such interest services allows mobile phone firms to boost revenues and have quite a monopoly, all they need now is Amazon Google and or Yahoo Tjhis could mean alot of the mobile internet and PDAs with the likes of iPhone and these big guys making special mobile orientated services.
