In their IE7/Firefox review, they entirely miss the point of Firefox, and forget Opera, and also forget the fact that Firefox Addons are much easier to use, find, and install, that FIrefox is more Compliant, and that Firefox is better for accessibility and even professionals (Web Developers); alsoBoomarking is easier if Firefox... they seem to keep IE7 ranked high, witha pretty dull conclusion,

But what about when they always favor microsoft over apple... and when they start making business deals with Microsoft

Tom is not one that is fussed with that kind of thing, he doesnt do Web Development, or serious web use, we all enjoy Firefox, we know its good, but for the mass audience, they will have access to some of the features Firefox has; for tom, who used to have IE6, it will be a vast improvement for him.
However, just go to www.firefox.com and you'll see the difference Very Happy
In my experience it is also slow and laggy, and it is also too graphics intensive, and addons? dont bother with them, get firefox for that.
Anyway; they still giva a bias view, however microsoft is genuinely changing, and fast. They really are staying up there... and I cant see them failing with Vista or IE7 when 95% of the world use Windows.
Yes, it has occured to me too, more than once, that the Beeps have a (certainly not disinterested) leaning towards M$. But then, heck, the Queen loves Microsoft or at least Bill Gates. All that when Apple's marketshare in the UK is going up... it is, isn't it ?
If the BBC loves Microsoft, so do the government, as thats all the BBC is...
I have notices their love of Microsoft for qquite some time, but they dont half make it obvious sometimes.!
i actually watched a report on teh Firefox IE7 rivallry this morning on Click (dunno if that's what you were talking about Sam) and they did downplay Firefox's Version 2(or at least only talked about them for an odd 20 seconds) and then went on about IE7 for the rest of it. They do seem to like microsoft
