I have a list of 18 questions about Windows XP. Some of them i can answer but im not sure how to word the answers :( I also think that the describing questions need step-by-step guides but im not sure. :wacko:
1) How many days are you allowed in which to activate Windows XP? 2) What is the monitor screen called and why? 3) What does F1 provide access to? 4) Where would you encounter the TASK PANE? 5) What is the notification area? 6) Give a short description of each of these file types: documents, folder, shortcuts, and program files. 7) How many letters are used in extensions? 8) Describe how you would obtain a more detailed description of an object. 9) Describe how to create an empty folder and an empty text document on the desktop. 10) What is the default size of Recycle Bin? 11) By default, after how many days is the Desktop Cleanup Wizard done? 12) Describe the steps you would follow in order to manually activate the Desktop Cleanup Wizard. 13) What would you click to be directly connected to Microsoft's website? 14) You want to open a document, but are unsure where you filed it. Describe how you would locate it. 15) Hardware can be installed two ways, by Windows discovering new item, or using the Add New Hardware Wizard. Give a set of instructions for both methods. 16) Describe the steps you would follow in order to view a web page in your desktop. 17) Describe the steps you would follow in order to manually synchronise the system date and time with the Microsoft time server. 18) Describe the steps you would follow in order to create a Limited user account that has no password.
