Recommentded Reading, I managed to get a 1st edition for £12, from Froogle, Area 51: The Dreamland Chronicles is Non Fiction Amazing stuff
The first one on this list is $5, and it is the american hardback edition, unlike the british softback:

Its not all Cold War...

The UK knows more than it is saying about top secret American aircraft projects, recently declassified documents reveal.
According to Jane's Defence Review a third of USAF spending on research and development and procurement goes on classified projects. Some of that helps pay for the development of spy satellites and intelligence activities. But a sizable proportion goes on the development of secret manned and unmanned aircraft.
Now I think all this is scarier than Aliens
There ia Aurora... This mach 6 craft is the replacement to the SR-71. Thought to be powered by liquid methane, the Aurora has a "doughnuts on a rope" contrail and supposedly requires a huge airfield to land. Much controversy remains of this unacknowledged aircraft - some believe the Aurora is really a UAV while other believe the program has been an abject failure, thereby forcing the reactivation of the SR-71. Still others believe that the whole program is just disinformation.
It could actually land at Campbelltown airport, Scotland, the 2nd Longest runway after Area 51 Nevada, and it can land Space Shuttles.
Due to its remoteness and with a long runway (3.049km) it is ideal for landing any type of aircraft and conducting discrete research operations. A less interesting possibility is that this was simply necessary for the declared purpose of the site, a dispersal airfield for the V bombers and an emergency landing site for P-3 Orions. It is well known that the United States maintained a Navy SEAL commando unit at the base and that the British SAS commandos occasionally use the facility for training exercises[citation needed]. The base is also rumoured to have been used for testing US Project Aurora aircraft and an American unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) RQ-3 Dark Star[citation needed].
As you can see, I take quite an interest in Aviation, and watch at Carlisle Airport sometimes, and some of the RAF bases, including the RAF Spadeadam, where in the Cold british nuclear deterem missiels were tested and a lauch facilities were made there, for the Blue Streak Missiles, later replaced by Trident Submaries. The project was abandoned in 1950s.
I also have my invaluable Janes books
Here are some Declassified Documents from the UK:
Top right is a SR71 Blackbird - below an image of an aircraft has been blanked out - again under Section 27. Could this have been a picture of Aurora?
The blanked out sections might well contain a reference to Aurora but that does not mean the plane definitely exists. Sweetman says the blanked out sections "could be speculation but then why would they need to withhold it?"
"Aliens" definately do exist, but I do not think that humans have seen any of them. Aliens are any living organisms that are not from Earth. The chances of them existing on other planets in our universe are very high. The chances of any human ever seeing an alien (and vice versa) are very low. I don't actually give a damn about aliens. Another point about aliens - why have humans always assumed that aliens will have more advanced technology than us? Because that is what the movies make us believe. I don't believe in spinning discs and all that UFO crap - I reckon that they are all either made up or that they are human aircraft.
that pic of the black jet...that isnt a UFO...just another black jet fighter
Quoting:P
nother point about aliens - why have humans always assumed that aliens will have more advanced technology than us? Oh believe me...you don't need a movie to tell you. You can tell by the U.F.O's the way they are...that is too advanced!
Have you ever seen any flying hover vehicle on earth!?
They advanced than us again, because they travel through warp hole or something...cuz you know it will take a human about a week to get to the moon or something...can't remember:p
that pic of the black jet...that isnt a UFO...just another black jet fighter
If you read my thread, what I was saying is that any "ufo"s are usually scarier than aliens would be; as Area 51 does exist... extra terrestrial links are merely a great coverup for what reall goes on.

Parallel universes could be possible, as Space and Time is a strange thing, and also there has to be, as Andreyevich says, other living things, but not all "droids" and killing orientated things; who knows what shape or form they would be in, they could be like nothing we'd imagine, we may not even be able to see them, speculation is very far-fetched.
Incidently, whilst we are on the subject of Space and Time, what do you guys think the fate of the universe should be?
I think that the universe wil collapse back into itself (and, due to the relationship between Space and Time, time would be reversed) and another Big Bang will occur. Maybe we should have a science forum to discuss aliens/space/other science topics...
