Maxthon is IE2. Try it out. Firefox doesn't support ActiveX and has been found over and over to be unstable. I had to quit using it. I think this will help a lot.

http://www.maxthon.com/en/

Its FREE.

Hmm...I tried it out. It's ok. Its cool that it support ActiveX meaning that I can use Yahoo! Mail's Colors and Graphics option, but ActiveX is what makes IE so insecure, as in one of its main flaws. For now, I'll stick with FF, but Maxthon doesn't seem too bad.

Ah man...just d/led it....seems buggy. It lagged up my laptop.

And it works with IE...so stupid...so if u click a link on another site, it will open up a new IE page rather than a Maxthon page....lots of advantageous features...but some of the little things can add up to a big thing..

Yes that is annoying. Very good point millzZ. All the favorites, etc. from IE6 are transferred over to Maxthon. That's stupid. This seems like another Internet Explorer + tabbed browsing + different name.....

Lol firefox lags my system bad for some reason and firefox crashes on me a lot Maxthon dosnt. How wierd. I dont think firefox likes my zone alarm pro 5 fire wall.

Maxthon and IE6 are interconnected. Whatever sites I visit through Maxthon show up on IE. Websites and my *signature* detects the browser as IE6. This seems to be some cheap version of IE with a different GUI and tabbed browsing...hmm...I think I'm sticking with Firefox.

I had similar issues with Fire Fox. It does seem a little faster than IE6 but at a cost.
Stability.

We need a browser that feels & acts like IE6, but is not IE6.

I highly doubt it. Firefox is made by Mozilla Org.
