I guess Audigy 4 Pro is better since it is higher in the chain. Not sure though.  :guh:

Some reviews i have seen said the 2 Zs was better in some ways.

Audigy 4 isnt much improvement over Audigy 2ZS, i would wait for the \"ground breaking\" X-Fi.

I like on board sound though. The best I've used was the nForce 2 Sound Storm :rolleyes:

Whatever is cheaper.  dang hard to hear the difference.

If you can wait, and afford it, get the X-fi.

The highest model. X-Fi Elite Pro, is 399.99$.

The lowest model, X-Fi Extreme Music, is 129.99$

Not very cheap if you ask me.

No, I guess not.  But, the $129 isn't that horrible for a new product.  But, I still couldn't pay that much for it.
