I cannot recommend the Neopower at all, unless you are willing to void your warranty to change the fan and properly fit it. If you do so the PSU is a pure winner. Without doing so I cannot recommend it at all.
I even know somebody who has communicated these concerns with a person from Antec Product Devlopment. Even he agreed both that the gap was rather poor and so was the choice of fan. Antec still has not fixed this issue either.
As somebody a lot more famous than I once said, genius is in the details. I feel at the price point that these supplies occupy, the details should already have been attended to.
i like the coolmax CX450B 450W Black PSU i got it for my compy it moves a ton of air and i can't even hear it. and it cools my athlon XP like a dream it has silent switching and has two large fans.
i got it for about $40 american
