When we think of Ghost recon games, we think of slow paced and boring shooting game play. But my first play of Ghost Recon 3: Advanced war fighter left me gobsmacked at the beautiful graphics. When i picked up the xbox360 controller everything was natural to me. Like the Ghost Recon Games before it on the xbox the controls were nearly identical. This made for very easy play. As i first started playing i was amazed at this near perfect shooter fps & tps. Some games should take lessons from Ghost Recon because it sets a near perfect example for shooting/tactical games.
You Quickly learn that team play and thinking before you shoot is always an option, because one small mistake could lose you the whole mission / match. Sadly you can never be lead into working as a team as doing your own thing seems alot funner.
But working as a team quickly teaches you that you cant lose against an almost humourous AI. I was shocked at my first play by the quick responses and tactical moves that the Ai do. They ambush you or flank you which will sometimes drive you to gripping the controller to tight for its own good. The Game although is highly fustrating because of the amount of thought that people put into it, only with the end result being death or in the bleek words of Ghost Recon MISSIONS FAILED.
However i would recommend this game to anyone who is interested in fps or tps. The multiplayer is challenging and very fun when playing online or playing with your friends splitscreen.

I have the game, however I don't play it as it performs horribly on my PC, which is weird due to its power (3000+, 7800 GT, 1024 mb ram)
