I picked up the xbox controller, took the Oblivion disc out of its massive special edition packaging turned on the 360, made my profile and got into the game. This is generally the step by step to any game. But when you start to play Oblivion you are in awe at the beautiful graphics and the pretty landscapes.
As you walk through the land you get drawn in as you trot along with your horse instead of playing the game you will seem to admire the scenary alot more. Sadly Oblivion has single player but no multiplayer which does make the game lack abit. But the AI is smart enough to act as much as any other person getting on with there own buisness. But there while walking around the towns you listen in to there conversations and they are very empty. Some consist of "good day, i wonder how Gredler is doing". "Yes, goodbye." Granted they do lack but when you talk to the AI personally they are alot better at communicating with you.
There is so much in Oblivion that you will have around 200 hours of game play. It is definetly a game were you can spend days playing. Lose all your friends and then have no social life after that day where your pale, white and have nintendo thumb (or xbox 360 thumb).
This is definetly one of the most graphically amazing games ive ever seen and is probably the best xbox game ive played in a long long time.
I would reccommend this game to anyone even if you havent been introduced to the RPG genre.

Only downside is after around 60 hours you're just downright bored. But besides that, yeah it's awesome.
