Hello from Kazakhstan or Jagshemash Ivirtua readers.
We all know who Borat is, that lovable, side splitting guy.
Borat as many would not know is also Ali G (Sacha Baron Cohen) who has been around for quite a few years entertaining the teen and adult community alike with his excellent characters and smart humour. This good humour got him two baftas for Best Comedy Creation and Best Comedy Programme for Da Ali G Show.
But lets focus on Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan . The movie focuses around Borat, who travels to the US of A to study American culture and life.
Don't get me wrong i heard the movie was supposed to be highly controversial and it really is, but its much much more than what i expected in the first place.
He meets, feminists, politicans, homosexuals, and really does offend them all to a really big extent.
However on his first night he watchs a TV and sees Baywatch, for the first time and falls inlove with Pamela Anderson, he starts in New York but when he falls inlove with Pamela he travels across america ( to California) to find her.
The movie is honestly the funiest thing ive ever seen in my entire life. The entire cinema (completely full) was laughing at the jokes, humiliation and fun that Borat goes through on his travels. Although i must warn, the movie is very racist, homophobic, anti-semetic and also very ANTI- American. He really does bring out the worst in some of the people he interviews.
Sacha Baron Cohen, has really outdone himself in this character, truely mastering Borat to such an extent that Borat is a 100% believable character. In my own opinion Borat, is highly controversial and a comedy masterpiece. I give Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan a 10/10 for being a outstanding comedy.
Look out for Sacha's newest movie coming out soon, starring Bruno the gay Austrian reporter. (another one of his characters)
