O.K. I finally OC'ed my DFI LanParty nF4 Ultra D to 2.60GHz. My stock CPU speed is 2.00GHz.

But there is a catch, I had to reduce the DDR400 to DDR266 due to the fact that my VDIM DDR Voltage control is locked @ 2.6v. For me to hit at least DDR433 or higher, I need at least 2.7v to 2.8v.

So anybody having OC'ing issues with the DFI Ultra D, it's your RAM & DDR Voltage.

I need a bios update to hopfully resolve this problem. :guh:

Sounds pointless to me bro. Doubt even overclocking the GPU it will ever score more then 5500 in 3dmark05.
1 6800 U in AGP gets more than that.

And I get this error message when Aquamark 3 benchmark completes but does not post a score.

Anybody know of this error? :)

I'll get higher scores if I can get my mobo running better.

Looks like you're having fun. What vcore are you using for the processor? And is the 3200+ 90nm stable past 2600MHz?

So far, the fastest I can get the CPU is to 2.60GHz stable. But there is a lot more setting which need time.

I have the Athlon 64 3200+ @ 2.00GHz 90nm Winchester Core.

2.60GHz you mean? :P Anyways, I would try reducing the PCI-E voltage. That might add to some stability. I read that somewhere.

Oh and also, try not to fry the poor Athlon.

1. Who is Chris G?
2. SuperXP has an X800XL

Plus, the 6600GT has faster memory & core speed than the X800 & X800 Pro. All have GDDR3 memory, except X800's have 256MB, while 6600GT has 128.

The 6600GT only has a faster core speed than the X800 XL by 100MHz. The Memory speed for both cards is 500MHz (1000MHz).

Just some INFO,
The X800XT has 520MHz Core & 560MHz (1120MHz) Memory.

The X850XT PE is
Engine Clock 540MHz
Memory Clock 1.18GHz (590MHZ DDR3)

I have the same thing with the 3200 having a max clock of 2.65 Ghz.

I think that you will find that the error that the AQ3 is posting is becuase the system isnt stable, This i believe is the RAM clock setting that have a real big impact on the clock stability.

I suggest that you run prime95 for about ten minutes - you will find that you get an issue before the first 2 minutes of running the tests.

Bear inmind that the FX55 only clocks stable on some system @ 2.65 so its good going but also that it will run @ 2.76 with out the need to make some vast changes then jumping to 1.7 /75 to get a good clock

One clock and a bit extra voltage may give you what you want

I guess I need to run some trial & error to see how far I can take my Athlon 64 3200+  :guh:

I saw on some benchmark that the DFI LanParty Ultra-D SLI was the best OC'er out of the SLI motherboards. But I also heard it was very unstable. I'd rather take a MSI, ABIT, or EPOX.

Unstable due to the Ram tweakings you need to do in order toget it right.

This is what I am working on right now & for a wile now is the DDR Ram.
