I was just wondering because I remember being young and they taught us cursive so much, saying we would always use it in the future and everything. Besides my signature (which isn't really real cursive, just some illegible ink), I never write anything in cursive. Partly because I have forgotten how to write a lot of letters in cursive, so it looks like crap. However, it did used to look good. My print on the other hand is nice and neat. Most people actually say I write like a girl.
On a similair note, what do you guys prefer? Pens of Pencils? This topic is kind of random, but I'm bored and just looking to get some discussions going on here...
I have really weird handwriting. I mix cursive and normal english. And I prefer pens over pencils but when we have to use ScanTrons, I am forced to use pencils.

No i don't write cursive. I use chinese calligraphy rules when i print and it looks neat. But when i'm around other people i print really small. I print really small when not doing it chinese way.
For most things, I write in a hybrid cursive-print. Mix of speed and readability. But when I'm handwriting letters (like a thank-you-note, or something like that), I write cursive.
If there's a good pen, I'll use that (one that bleeds ink nicely, usually not ball point) but if not, I'll take a pencil.

Well, I learned it in the 3rd grade and loved it. I had really neat and good looking cursive handwriting. It was better than my print. But I was like the only one doing it when we didn't have to.. and we were never forced after grade 5. Now all I write in cursive is my name half the time. I have sloppy cursive too(for the most part.) I blaime the schools. :O
