Motorola and designer Dolce&Gabbana have released a new Razr V3i in gold and silver. The phone comes with a complimentary gold D&G pendant.

The phone will be available globally starting June 1. Pricing has not yet been announced.

The Motorola D&G fashion phone has the same features as other Razr V3i models: Bluetooth, a 1.23-megapixel camera, video capture and playback, and iTunes software.

Motorola launched a limited-edition Dolce&Gabbana phone in gold and black last December.

In conjunction with the latest phone, Motorola and D&G are offering a line of D&G phone accessories, including a gold leather phone case, a gold H700 Bluetooth headset, and gold wired stereo headphones with a gold on-wire volume control. These accessories can be purchased on their own.

I've seen the regular V3i and that isn't bad - alot of improvements have been made on the features (nearly said gameplay there...haha), and i'ts altogether a big improvement. The D&G version seems a bit stupid (I think the gold looks awful, actually...).

I think Motorola are targeting the wrong crowd here. If they really want to make big bucks, they should release a Burberry version (with complimentary "pendant" aka: premium Chavwear), to sell to all the chavs on the street. In conjunction with this phone, Motorola and Burberry could offer a line of Burberry phone accessories, including a Burberry phone case, a gold H700 Bluetooth headset, and gold wired stereo headphones with a gold on-wire volume control.

This phone seems to have a bit too much bling for me (mind you, anything with bling in the first place is too much for me).
