This month's playlist updates for Halo 3 featuresboth a number of tweaks to the Matchmaking process and theimplementation of DoubleXP Weekend Playlists. The Weekend HoppersDoubleXP playlists announced today included Grifball(the major changes being unlimited round times, which makes forunlimited griefing potential) and Team SWAT (players have no shields orradar, but increased health) and will be available March 6-10 and March20-23, respectively.
Here is the list of tweaks to maps and Matchmaking that Bungie announced:
Fixed map exploit on The Pit
Fixed map exploit on Construct
Fixed map exploit on Epitaph
Reduced Ranked Big Team Battle "Large party" size to six players and increased Big Team threshold to two
Fixed Spartan Laser occasionally falling through map on Sandtrap
Fixes to matchmaking to allow more even leveling for players
Disabled Mixed Skill restrictions for RBTB and Team Slayer
The Heroic DLC contentalso was subject to adjustments, having been split into two differentmodes: DLC Slayer (4v4) and DLC Objective (6v6). Each of these modeswill feature a bevy of different objective types.
