...I've been on an \"Install as many fricken' OS'es as possible\" spree, and uh... I installed Mac OS X 10.4.5 on my Vista box. Unfortunately, in shutting down the system and attempting to reboot, I was confronted with an \"HFS+ Partition Error\" message, and I hadn't gotten any screenshots within the actual operating system.
This \"HFS+ Partition Error\" message has been rampantly persistent in thwarting many who wish to install Mac OS X on their PC's, and I seem to have suffered it in much the same way that everyone else has (the HSF+ partition for Mac OS X isn't quite properly configured), but unfortunately, my Ubuntu Live CD doesn't seem to want it's \"cfdisk\" Terminal command to be doing things to the hard drive (it seems to only have read-only permissions). Fie.
So I think I'm just going to toast the entire hard drive, and I'm going to install Windows Vista (Build 5342), Mac OS X 10.4.5 and Ubuntu Linux 5.10. It should be fantastic. Screenshots and one video should be up shortly.
I've always liked Windows, and I still do. I might come across like that, because a lot of the time you get these elitists who're like, \"I use a different OS, and for no based reasons whatsoever, it's better than Windows.\" That really torques me off - I've enjoyed trying Linux, Mac OS X, BeOS, and ReactOS over the past couple of days, but that doesn't mean I like Windows XP any less. Windows XP opened to door to computing for me, and it's provided me with naught but the finest computing experience I've ever had.
That said, I've had fun toying with other operating systems. Mac OS X, was, (unlike the first time I tried to use it) fun to use. Same with both Ubuntu/Kubuntu Linux 5.10 and Windows Vista. I thoroughly enjoyed just using the computer... which may or may not be a good thing. :D
I'll admit, a loooooong time ago I hated Macs... and if you ever want to hear my nightmare tale about that, don't hesitate to PM me. :D
