I am afraid we cant allow members to post illegal mp3 download sites, however I would reccomend iTunes, Napster and I think Microsoft are bringing out their own version of an mp3 shop soon.

I would like to say, although programs like eTomi, Limewire (P2P sharing) claim to be "Legal", the program is legal, and so is the use of them, but NOT the downloading of illegal and copyrighted unlicensed material. Its a kind of legal loophole. Sometimes the programs are marketed on the fact that you can get free music downloads, the fact is, there's no such thing, and it IS illegal.
Also P2P sharing sites will extremely compromise the security of your Pc ,no matter how much they say it wont. There is also official organisations funded by the goverment and music companies that monitor these site for illegal downloading. So you've been warned.
Many people have been caught, and many people dont know that the entire contents of your Hard Disc is available, and your bandwidth bills will rocket, also Viruses and Spyware are distributed by P2P commonly, to expand on Mark's comment.
that's what i like about dc++ you control what you download entirely and how many slots are available for people to download off of you as well as what is dled from you. It's a nice program and is far safer than any other p2p software, of course these days everything on the internet is one step away from being illegal.
