So you are positive you have an AGP and PCi slot?  PCI-E is different from both.

If you do have an AGP slot you will want an AGP card.  There is no reason to get a PCI card if you plan on gaming.

As for the actual card, what is your budget?  What games do you play? At what resolutions?

My budget would have to be $150 and under. Games I played are SW KOTOR 1 , SW KOTOR 2 The Sith Lords , Lord of the Rings The Return Of The King (The Battle for Middle-Earth), The Sims Deluxe Edition, The Lord of the Rings The Fellowship of the Ring,  The Hobbit and HP Quidditch World Cup. The resolutions is 1280 by 1024 pixels.

For your budget, see if you can get a really cheap deal for a Radeon 9800 Pro. That would be the only card around 150$ that could meet your requirements. Also, the games you play are not very very intensive like Doom 3 & Half Life 2 so they do not require cards like a 6600GT.

I might buy games like Half-Life 2 and new games.
So would a 6600 GT as I will buy new games.

If you plan on buying Half Life 2 or Doom3, then the 6600GT would be your best bet for your price range.

6800GT is 260-350$+. It is way out of your price range. 6800GT will offer much more performance than the 6600GT, but in your price range, the 6600GT is the best, and it will play all the latest games in an excellent manner.

I would recommend these 3 6600GT's. Choose one of them:

GigaByte GV-N66T128D 6600GT AGP:

eVGA 128-P2-N368-TX 6600GT AGP:

MSI NX6600GT-VTD128ASP 6600GT AGP:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16814127170

The MSI is a bit more expensive than the others, but they make great graphics cards as well.

But since you are looking closest to 150$, I would proudly choose the GigaByte 6600GT. Great company & great card. Hope you find which card you want. :)

With the eVGA being only a couple dollars more and having the step-up program it is a better buy IMO.  Any will work fine though.

Explain what you mean by the step-up program.

Don't know how they can afford to do that, but in that case, buy the eVGA 6800GT!

I already brought my grapics card and I have the grapics card in my machine  and working and install. I was not allowed to get the 6600GT so I was allowed to get the Geforce 6200.

Who is not allowing you? Your parents? The 6200 is a good choice as well, but will not play games as well as the 6600GT.

KoolDrew, you finally used a smilie in your posts. ;)
