You're letting the fact that it's a manual transmission stop you from getting it? Pfft. What's your address? I can teach you to drive a manual, eat fast food and look at a map all at the same time. Of course, that isn't very safe, but it's possible.
Want to know what my first car was? A 1981 Datsun (Nissan) 280ZX Turbo. It was black and gold with gold mag wheels. UGLY.
I could drive standard since i was 12 but not everybody had someone there to teach them, therefore they never bothered and now are stuck with automatics. Its not hard dont let people get you down it takes very little time if your taught the right way.
When my parents are buying me a used car, I am REQUESTING a manual. It is SO much more fuel efficient than automatic, and especially with gas prices now, it's really useful. Plus, you're less likely to get on your cell phone or multitask, increasing the chance of a wreck.
