I'm an active conservative. I participate at the local republican office a couple times a week (obviously, just in election season). But there are a few issues that I do lean towards the liberal side.
And btw, for anyone interested: If you want to meet any political candidates, do stuff at your local political office, whether it be republican or democrat. I've personally met and talked to our state's republican candidates running for governor, US Senate, state Senate and Congressman (who is also the chairman of the US House Intelligence Agency).
