Many of the reviews I read for this game were bad, but upon playing it for the Xbox console I was actually pleasantly surprised.
First of all I have to give credit to Titus for at least making the effort to produce this game. While it may not be up to par with something like Return to Castle Wolfenstein, it still is a substantial leap forward from its predecessor's on the NES, SNES, and Genesis.
Anyone who played the Demo probably didn't bother with the Full Version at all. After I played the Demo I couldn't believe how horrible I thought it was, but upon playing the Full Version I was shocked that it was actually pretty good.
The game incorporates many of the "Robocopisms" any fan would want to see, from his ThermoGraph imaging feauture to his Auto-Targeting system.
If you play the game on a surround sound system with some speakers than can carry some heavy base, you will be impressed at how cool it sounds when Robocop walks; you feel like you are in the movie to a good degree.
To make a long story short I recommend this game to anyone who is a fan of Robocop. While it may not be worth a $50 retail value, it is definitely worthy of a $20 "Greatest Hits" pricing category.
I hope this game spurs a sequal that will improve on these weaknesses; I would love to see a fantastic Robocop FPS game using modern graphics, control, and sound.
