'Enemies of the internet' named in The Great Debates!
http://www.savetheinternet.com/

There is a pretty interesting case going on atm the moment about ISP's charging Bigger sites for the chance to gain a bandwidth and deployment speed on 'high speed' lines.

Basicly what they want to do is in effect create a fast lane for people who can afford it and a regular speed late for the rest of us!

The consequences are obvious! The net used to be a level playing field if this bill goes thorugh in america its only a matter of time before it fillters down to us.

This will mean excellent compatability, and now you can almost do all the work, creative and technical in one program, imagine Adobe Bridge now!

Hello, i agree having one tool set which actualy is compatable will be a good thing. I'm not so sure about adobe taking the market by such a strange hold, it can often lead to missed oporunties. When one company owns the lions share creativity can be stifled, both in there development of software and new tools.

As an example, Freehand has now reached the end of its long lustrious life and will be replaced with another vector drawing app like illustrator. this means now you only have two choices Move to Illustrator or continue to use an ageing product with little to no support from the company. I like Freehand and will very sore to see it go, i can only imagine what Freehand 8 would have been like now, but i bet it would have been a cracker!

Anyway the Gaints have spoke and now i have to learn a New Program.
Thanks Adobe!
