Zonealarm gets my vote, however, I prefer a hardware firewall, less chance of going down and it doesnt eat resources. I find NO reason to run a software one (other than the windows one) with a switch/router with firewall.
Asus has had the most time out of all of them to get their BIOS straight and get the kinks worked out. It seems all SLI boards are quite buggy, and have many bad samples that get sent out.
Gigabyte has had the best out of the gate success and is a good over clocker.
