The cookbook one is actually really nice if you look through the pages that it lets you see. It shows you how to layout everything if you are making a poster. Seems really interesting. My design teacher has countless book in her room so when im done making whatever she wants i just brouse through the books. Interesting stuff.

I did not enter all cocky. I just said im no n00b at gfx when you said how I am a novice and you are an intermediate and all that. I said that im not new to graphics becuase im not. But im not the best and I know that, I have alot to learn and that why I came here. This is a different style and I figured I would learn more if I saw other style rather than looking at stuff that looks almost similar if not exaclty the same as mine.
EDIT: and also. I have learned some things from this style that is used at this board. I learned about blurring bgs to mek the focal point stand out which is something i never really thought of doing. No I do not know everything and it was wrong of me to say that I do and i feel like a n00b for saying it. But I do think that I know alot...not all, but alot.

the colors are very ugly and look like it was one color ballance. the scanlines were out ages ago. the guy on the left looks gay. there's no real effects, just a random green bar with that gay guy in it.

But seriously, people are acting like just becuase some random person that you have never met in your life and probobly never will says "wow pretty colors - Intermediate" doesnt mean that you are that you are good or bad for than matter. And honestly I havnt seen your work so it was wrong of me to make false acuasation about you using C4Ds but I just figured it becuase most people on this site do. I myself and into more sleek, cleaner, looking works. Others like high contrasted stuff with really crazy designs. Thats fine, its just not me.

Ok and you do know everything? Yea you might know everything about using someone elses C4Ds and calling it your own. I have taken 2 different photoshop classes. One on Photoshop itself and how to use it, like restore old pictures and that. And another on design, like placement, what looks good.

If it is supposed to be like an advertisement it's terrible. The bg is way to "crazy" I personally thing that cell phone advertisements are meant to be sleek and very clean looking. Not amature sigish.
