Gas Powered Games and Hellbent's Xbox 360 port of Supreme Commander has been pushed back to "later this year" in Europe, with a summer release promised for the US.
The 360 version features a new interface, HUD and controls, along with four-player multiplayer over Xbox Live. There are also exclusive units lined up, updated maps and two new multiplayer modes. Though we don't know what those are yet.

"The benefit of having independent companies such as Aspyr and its partners working on a project of this magnitude is that decisions like this can be executed quickly," the US publisher's marketing man Eric Duncan told Shack News.
"While the game will be hitting shelves later than originally expected, the additional time put into development will result in better gameplay and more fun for gamers."
European publisher 505 games has also released a batch of news screenshots from the console version. Will it work? We're still not sure.
It was difficult enough to keep up with the action using a mouse and keyboard, how on earth do they expect us to play it with a 360 pad?
