No matter how many times it's said by people that actually KNOW what they are talking about and don't have a particular agenda (i.e. developers), why can't people get to grips with the fact that the PS3 and 360 are very evenly matched.
The only technical aspects of the PS3 that may tip the balance in its favour are the standard HDD..... When you have Phil Harrison saying that most content will be available online - enabling both PS3 and 360 owners to download extra levels and content etc. - the storage capacity of the disc media may not be such a factor. The standard HDD factor may come into though.

I've had the thing for 2 weeks and have downloaded a few demos, a bunch of arcade games and saved a whole lot of PGR3 photos, yet when I went to save a PGR3 online race against Hyde, in the interests of tangible proof of my greatness, I was informed I didn't have enough storage space!
A mate's also been checking out some of the movies on offer for DL on the American marketplace, and the HD ones come in at about 5gig! That's a fair old chunk of a 20gig HDD.
Given all the different things on offer for DL, I can really see the 20gig limit becoming an issue. Which brings me to my question. How would MS go about offering a larger HDD in the future and not create a PR disaster? Obviously, no one would want to loose all their saves and various stuff from their original HDD. But from my experience with upgrading my xbox HDD, it's not an easy task to transfer a full 20gig HDD. (Not easy in the way it would need to be to appear professional and be consumer friendly. I would have been screwed without a couple of friends with laptops and some knowledge)
So, given that most 360s are hooked up to PCs anyway, is it possible for MS to set up a way of transferring all the data to the user's PC, and then back on to a new HDD?
Or could the new HDD be plugged into one of the external ports for a transfer of data?
I can't help but think I may live to regret the second part of my sig with this thread.
