duz anyone know wut happened to voodoo cards?!!? the voodoo3 was my first \"performance\" video card :-( ah the good ole' days
i heard they went out of business...but did 3DFX completely go out of business? are they making other things? i know i can research this..but it's easier just asking here
3DFX was the first company to come out with technology similar to SLI, except they used a ribbon cable as opposed to NVIDIA using an MIO port. Of course, 3DFX had trouble with the technology. NVIDIA got their hands on it and perfected it.
3dfx Interactive, Inc. is no longer providing support for any 3dfx products and drivers. Information about 3dfx is no longer available from the 3dfx.com website.
So, that's a YES. The company did go out of business.
