Just wanted everyone to know that last night my wife had to have an emergency surgery. She was pregnant and the pregnancy was a Tubal Pregnancy...meaning the baby was stuck in her Fallopian tube. The Doctor had to remove the baby...but if he had not done so, her tube could have ruptured and she'd have hemorraged and quite possibly would have died. We lost the kid, but we still have her. I guess thats the trade-off.
Also, my dad is about to die from aggressive cancer on his neck. I have pictures of it (its seriously disgusting) but I'm pretty sure that no one wants to see it.
I know alot of you guys are years younger than I am...but sometimes, if you have the ability, just go give your parents a hug or something. You really never know when they'll be gone.
I'm at a loss for words. I can only give me deepest condolences to you and your wife. How is your wife? No other complications? Also, do you have any other children?
I know what it's like to lose a parent. My biological father died of lymphoma (lymph node cancer) when I was 2 1/2 years old. Although I don't remember him much, I miss him very much in my life, even today.
Never take anything for granted.

Its nice to know that there are people who I scarcely know that genuinely care. It means alot. I'll still be around, but its sort of a surreal experience.
Predator, there are no other complications with my wife as yet and the doctor doesn't expect any, which is good. He doesn't see any problem with a normal pregnancy in the near future. And yes, I have a beautiful daughter who will be 2 1/2 soon. I never realized this, but the love you have for your child is so totally different than love for a girlfriend/wife/significant other. I would literally walk to the ends of the Earth with no shoes on for my daughter. Or more appropriately, I'd walk through hell and back for her.
zim could probly word it better like saying \"This will give me a chance to learn more about human affection which from what I've been able to determine is largely pain based.\" or \"Zim: WHY WAS THERE BACON IN THE SOAP!!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!? Gir: I made it ma self!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!\"
Wow. I am very sorry to hear this. One of my friends died of cancer a few months ago. She found out she had it when she went to the doctor for a check up on something. When they discovered it, they gave her six months, but she came back two weeks later for a check up, and they gave her 2 weeks to 2 months. She passed away about 2 1/2 weeks later.
Chris, good luck with everything in the future. I wish you the best.

Anyway, rough times.
Wow, so basicly it was a mandatory abortion. Was that supposed to be your first child?
