Im not a fand of "gfx" as such, which is all of those "siggy gfx", I dont call that GRaphic Design; I like Graphic Design, as real Graphic Design (What you would do at a Graphic Design Agency, doing real design, or on a degree course) I did work experience with agraphic designer, and I loved it... And you should always use a mac!!

THe portfolio is nice, I navar like those Flash portfolions all graduates come out with, looking the same.... (Usually from a multimedia degree course).

THe site looks fine, Id doesnt validate on w3c sadly, and looks a little too much like a premade template and hosting companies using premade templates never look genuine...

Nice portfolio. Im a freelance webdesigner. However, i dont use portfolios to display my work. If someone asks me, i will just send them a screen shot of my work.

I use Photoshop 7.0 and CS2. Illustrator, Notepad.

Very true. However, for their operating budget it fits nicely. $25-90USD. Who really can beat that. I design my own sites, gives ubber control of how its designed.

Any budget should include web accessibility, infact, I just guessed it wouldnt be valid...

It is nice for the budget, yes, but too be honest, I wouldnt have paid for that

Im a freelance webdesigner and Graphc Designer too, I like paper based portfolios too but for web contant, a papaer portfolio is worth next to nothing in a tendering situation.

I use CS2, Macromedia MX.

lol those are not graphics. Making signitures or random pictures are not being a graphics designer.

Sorry to be critical but all those designers on that site are wannabe designers with photoshop, who are pretty handy with it! But they can't be taken seriously at that age!

Well i guess you can say some of my users fit that. But others do Not.

I just added a new portfolio template, it can be viewed on mine, which just has random images on it for testing... http://www.postmyfolio.net/ryden

But, if you look at the homepage of http://postmyfolio.net you will see some of our best art.

This months best is done by http://www.postmyfolio.net/artisticmind

Thanks

Btw, if you want to check out my portfolio, its not yet up 100% cause i need to link the flash, but you can browse my folio.

Well, Some of your users are better than others, but They need alot more practice, their work is great, don't get me wrong, but I wouldn't call it Graphic Design just yet, untilI see more examples of their work.
The site looks good though

I wouldn't recommend Flash for portfolios (Tats more qhat a deree graduate does for the few weeks after his degree   ) but it looks ok.

http://neonnikmedia.com/folio.html Id call  Multimedia Design (In Multimedia Design resepct, your work is really great!).

I will say and repeat, Graphic Design is not being able to use Photoshop, some say Graphic Design is not an art, but an excersise in Psycology. Coudl you design an advertising comapaign? It is alot more than using photoshop, the graphics look pretty, but is that as far as it goes? Why choose that colour, why that style, why did you make it? (Just to show you can use Photoshop?)
