M$ should give XP a GUI overhaul and pass it off to the public as Vista! The sad thing is that 90% of consumers would probably actually fall for this!

That's what I find between XP and 2000. Except for maybe some small security features and the built in drivers.

There is Microsoft's new filesystem and I don't they've included all the new features into the betas yet. I don't have much hope, but who knows?
I tried the newest version, 5231 (the other one was 5219), and still had the problems with the mouse. There were times where it'd go 1 or 2 minutes with no mouse problems, it was smooth. But then, when I did something, it would go back to being jerky again. I'm thinking it must be some compatability problems with my mouse.
Josh, I updated your Photobucket links with ImageShack links. From now on, try not to post images that load up the whole screen, as it stretches and messes up the skin.

Is the Longhorn 64-Bit? I also heard that the recommended Graphic card is actually not out yet from ATI & NVidia?!?
So I guess forget about the R520's & the G70's I am thinking. This may result in a very slow slow adoption of there Longhorn & therefore be a somewhat failure to Microsoft.
What do you all say ;)

Colonel Mustard, are you an employee of Microsoft or something? You cannot claim such things unless you have facts to back it up with.
Such a basic bug as mouse movement is quite strange - it should be a simple matter of harvesting some code from any of their other operating system versions and pasting it into Vista's souce. Don't you agree?
Well, it turns out it was my processor. I got my new system put together today, and Vista works fine. I'm not sure if it's because I went to a 64 bit proc, or just a faster one. So, I guess the minimum specs for it should be at least like a 3GHz or AMD equivalent cpu.
The Top bars look like the skin i have in windows xp. Its called Xoom Graphic Style Black. ALmost exactly the same controlbox in the top bar. The start menu isnt at all the same though.
Josh, how well is that system running with your generic 450W PSU?
Well, I've had two restarts that I'm sure are because of it. But, otherwise it's doing good, when I could get windows to boot up... lol I'm having problems with boot files missing. But that's a whole different topic.
