However there are free alternatives to XBL, such as XBC. They are not as good, but are free. Also for games like Halo that do not have XBL support, you can use XBC to play online with other people. If you have not used XBl before, the starter pack is perfect since it comes with a 1 year subscription, headset, and a free game (don't know what it is now). I think that is it. I have a starter thingy and it's 3 month free trial. So I unsubscribed when the free trial ended. Now I have 12 months left but I can't find the subscription code.
