Four new entries broke into the Japanese software sales chart forthe week ending March 9, headed by PlayStation 3 title Yakuza 3: Kenzanwhich crashed straight in at number one, selling over 180,000 units inthe process.
By contrast the next highest new entry, Metroid Prime 3: Corruptionfor the Nintendo Wii, only managed fifth place, selling just 32,000units.
Super Smash Bros Brawl and Wii Fit took second and third placesrespectively, shifting almost 100,000 copies between them, according toMedia Create sales data.
Gundam Musou Special for the PlayStation 2 took fourth place, and Wii Sports edged ever closer to the 3 million mark in sixth.

Overall Nintendo platforms accounted for seven of the top tenplacings, although thanks to Yakuza 3's performance, Sony platformsaccounted for over 54 per cent of total top ten sales.
