Well, let me start complaining, off the bat:
1.My Powercolor 1900xt won't display video. Nothing, Zip, Nada.
2. The card is bent upward 1cm(when looking from front to back)...very odd
3. Card came with it's memory cooler hanging off...

Specs:
DFI nF4 Ultra-D
OCZ Powerstream 520w
3500+ clawhammer
1 stick of 512 mushkin installed
//For those of you who care, I have no beeps and one final LED staying on. This denotes a vid card problem. I have searched dfi-street to page 4ish, but still have not found an answer, except for one guy who had simliar experiences and the fix was a replacement vid card.
I'm not looking for tech support, I'm just venting.....

I rma'ed(newegg) my board, and my computer is in pieces. I don't know how long I can go before I go on a rampage and hammer the thing to death..ARGH... I'll ship out the card to newegg tomo (next day air, no doubt)[$$$!!!!!] I just wanted a good gaming computer, but all I have is junk. I shoulda waited for NVIDIA.

Thanks ATI!

Quite a few X1900's seem to be not working out of the box. I would just wait for G71 or buy an X1800XT, which works flawlessly.

I wish I had my camera to highlight the problems I've also found with my video card (which is now in the hands of UPS on it's transcontinental trip to California.)

For  one, it's cooling fans were bent... badly. See what I mean on this hexus review:

The Copper fins under my card's white plastic cover were all bent to the right, as if it were dropped during production. Also, the I/O panel of the card was not flush with the case, at all. Only the top screw would work, and the bottom was too far out of alignment to be screwed in. Also in the above picture, the card is nearly flush with the table. Remember my previous description of my card? I wasn't kidding about its noticably scary curve.

An annoyance is that the card was pressing down on the mobo chipset cooler, but I can live with that.

I sincerely hope I get a replacement fast, and don't get screwed by newegg. I'm going insane without my computer; this junker with 256mb of system memory is killing me!

Yeah, I think this is the 3rd one that I've heard about that isn't good.  Not good for ATI.
ATI is always known for Quality, and not speed.  Well, it looks like here they tried to get it out too quick, and messed up on the quality :P

:)

Well, my new card should be in the hands of UPS by now, on it's trek to Texas, and to my computer. I've got to hand it to newegg; complete turn around from defect recieved to re-ship is at about 24 hours. Too bad it's shipped next day air, but It's a friday, so i'll see it monday (exactly a week after recieving the original card).

He told me in school that it booted up, but the DFI image which loads at boot was all garbled.
