EZ-mode ZA Eagle Boss trash event Originally *posted (http://www.mmowned.com/forums/showthread.php?t=65896)* by *rahsk (http://www.mmowned.com/forums/members/rahsk.html)*
Alright, so here's a nice trick we discovered while we had an AFK hunter doing ZA. When you are pulling the event to start it, have one hunter stand back where my shaman is in this picture (The rest of the group will be past those two pillars at this time.)
So the hunter will stay out of combat, and the rest of the group will start the pull on the two at the bottom of the ramp and the messenger guy will run up the ramp like normal.
When the pats from behind run up, they will attack the hunter instead of the group, and he will then feign death. This will cause them to screw the heck up, and the pats from behind, the eagles, and that final guy before the eagle boss all disappear.
We also did this with a rogue, but it worked to a lesser extent. With a rogue the first 2 still attacked us, and one set of eagles attacked us, but it chilled out after that (the last guy was still there though).
There may be more intracicies to perfecting this tactic, but we've always gotten it to work to an extent that made the event easier.
