No The Movies Were not COmpressed But the Extra Features Were Deleted

Well an average DVD movie is 4.70GB. With no features, it's probably @ 4.20GB memory. Seeing that features don't take up much space.

I don't know, it looks like the 2 movies were compressed with 100% quality.

A DivX movie on a 700MB CD can easily have better image quality than a DVD 4.70GB. Now that's some good compression.
